Summer Funnin © by Weed Whacker

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these! I’m hoping I can start doing them more regularly now, since I’ve got quite the backlog of links saved up. In the meantime, here are a few fantastic things for you to check out!

After my recent discovery of life without Facebook, I was pleased to find this article about social media obligation. I find this is really true for me – I hate unfollowing people on Twitter if they’re following me, and I am terrified of unfriending on Facebook. Do you feel the same obligation when it comes to social media? If not, how do you avoid it?

I’ve seen this a million times, but I like this “kinda sorta DIY“. I haven’t ever done it myself, but I probably should. I think it’s important to remember that we’re more than the numbers relating to the clothes we put on every morning.

These ten ways to feel rich sound like so much fun! I think I’ll have to gather up some friends and do a bunch of things on the list one of these weekends.

Coincidentally, also from Yes and Yes, here’s a post on picking your luxuries. Why not add a little bit of fabulous to your everyday life?

In my frustration with virtual socializing lately, I’ve thought more and more about more traditional forms of socialization. I love the idea of just getting together to chat, and try to do it regularly with a few friends! We throw on a TV show in the background, and sit and chat. Sometimes there are drinks, sometimes board games, and sometimes just a couch and some sunshine.

Tell me – what have you read lately that caught your eye?
